Something Fishy about our Recycling

At Poly Graphics we try to re-use newspaper and packing paper as much as we can.

Recently my sister cleaned out her storage space – she emptied many boxes of stuff that she ended up giving away to family or bringing to the dump. Left behind were several boxes full of packing paper – a great thing for Poly Graphics to re-use when we ship our invitation orders. We just couldn’t stand seeing this good packing paper be thrown away.

We’ve been using up the packing paper in the boxes that we ship out.

Last week we found something inside the paper… something hard. Unrolling the packing paper left us with this fishy thing.

My sister lost this wooden fish in the packing paper! We think it was part of a game – a fishing game that uses magnets… because the fish has a magnet on its nose.

We’re glad we didn’t send this fish to a customer!

P.S. Are you re-using and re-cycling? Poly Graphics re-uses and recycles as much as we can… any waste that we have that our our town recycles, gets recycled.

P.S.S. When we run out of packing paper we’ll switch to using newspaper to pad our boxes.

Yikes! We Goofed

Even though we proofread every order, check for grammar errors, check for print quality, and double count envelopes, we still make mistakes sometimes.

The party invitation should have said “Beth” not “Bet”.

And we shipped the invitations to the customer. Yikes!

As Poly Graphics always does, we admit our mistake and fix it as quickly as possible. Luckily there was enough time for the corrected invitations to arrive and be delivered to guests before the RSVP date got too close.

We’re human, we make mistakes, but we admit them, fix them, and move on.

Try us, we’ll do our best to get your right the first time!

Funny Malaysian Tea Description

My sister knows that I like variety in my tea (varie-tea ? )

So she gave me a bag of Beverly Healthy Flower Tea from Malaysia. It is described as “Cooling Flower Tea” and on the back of the bag it gives instructions for how to prepare the tea and benefits (all in uppercase!)

- HOW TO MAKE BEVERLY HEALTHY FLOWER TEA

CUT AND POUR INTO CUP
ADD 250ML BOILED WATER THEN COVER
WAIT FOR 3 MINUTES THEN READY TO SERVED
ADD ROCK CANDY AND REPEAT SAME THINGS FOR 2 TIMES
DRINK HOT OR COLD (ICE OR CHILL)
