On Friday, December 21, 2012 the Mayan Calendar of 5,125.37 years or 1,872,000 days runs out. The calendar that started August 11, 3114 B.C. ends at this year’s winter solstice. This means that time will run out. Some believe that the world will end on that day.
This is a great reason to have a party. If you are going out, you should go out having fun.

You can think of it as the biggest New Year’s Eve party of many generation’s lifetimes.

You’d think with all of those designs, we would have covered the gamut of party opportunities. But, alas, that is not true! We recently got a request for a birthday party invitation that we would never have imagined…a gross out party.

Yes, complete with “blood” and “guts”, this party was going to be a totally gross experience. To say that Darian had fun with this one is an understatement. It was a challenge to not only come up with graphics, but to design an invitation that would entice someone to join the fun rather than run the other way in disgust.

What she came up with is one of our favorite new designs, complete with bugs, slugs and an eyeball perched on top of a bowl of squirmy worms. I hear you…oooooooooooooo! That’s what we said, too, right before we said, “that is SO cool!”

* We will work with you on your draft until you like it – which means several versions of your wording and graphics. Normally there is no extra charge for preparing drafts, but we may ask for an additional design fee if we prepare an unreasonable amount of drafts and no conclusion is in sight. We’re here to serve you, but we need to feed our kids.
