You’ve only got 264 days to prepare a great celebration to go out in style on December 21, 2012, the last day on the Mayan Calendar. Now is the time to start planning.

Don’t fear the end, fight it with fun.

Now available for your “End of the World” party are six new designs at  to choose from with unlimited variations available.

You can also request an entirely new design.

Shake your fist at the Mayans and celebrate.

On Friday, December 21, 2012 the Mayan Calendar of 5,125.37 years or 1,872,000 days runs out. The calendar that started August 11, 3114 B.C. ends at this year’s winter solstice. This means that time will run out. Some believe that the world will end on that day.
This is a great reason to have a party. If you are going out, you should go out having fun.

You can think of it as the biggest New Year’s Eve party of many generation’s lifetimes.

If you want to learn more about the predicted 2012 End of the World, here is a Wikipedia article  and a National Geographic Article about these myths.

P.S. Do I really believe that the world will end December 21, 2012? No.
I believe what The Bible says:
“Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?” Ecc 8:7 and
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Matt 24:35-36

P.P.S. You can get full service invitations for any celebration at If you can’t find it, we will design it for you, just ask.

This news item is for release on April 1, 2012

All sorts of party invitations

Have you ever wondered how many different ways there are to celebrate a birthday?

From a small gathering of friends to an all out free-for-all with pony rides and a circus clown, we have seen it all. PolyGraphics has over 650 different kids party invitation designs on our website that you can start with.

You’d think with all of those designs, we would have covered the gamut of party opportunities. But, alas, that is not true! We recently got a request for a birthday party invitation that we would never have imagined…a gross out party.

Yes, complete with “blood” and “guts”, this party was going to be a totally gross experience. To say that Darian had fun with this one is an understatement. It was a challenge to not only come up with graphics, but to design an invitation that would entice someone to join the fun rather than run the other way in disgust.

What she came up with is one of our favorite new designs, complete with bugs, slugs and an eyeball perched on top of a bowl of squirmy worms. I hear you…oooooooooooooo! That’s what we said, too, right before we said, “that is SO cool!

So, whether your daughter is inviting her 10 best friends for a limo ride around town, your son is having a construction birthday party complete with a real bulldozer to climb on, or you are celebrating your birthday with a retro theme (disco ball included), you have come to the right place. We can help you announce your party any way you like. Choose from one of our existing designs or challenge us with a totally new concept.

Go ahead…we’re up for it!

Exactly Right Invitations

Your invitation order from Poly Graphics gets the utmost attention by a designer.

A designer who reads your wording & looks for anything that is missing.

A designer that reviews your text for spelling and omissions.

A designer that formats your wording in the font that you select on the design that you have chosen so that it looks the very best that it can.

A designer that takes the time to make your invitation wonderful.

But we may have different ideas of what “wonderful” means.

Your order will be carefully drafted, then placed on a personalized page where you can review what we’ve done.

So if you don’t like what our designer has created, let us know. We’ll change it until you like it*.

There is no automatic, machine generated drafting process at Poly Graphics. And we like it that way. We hope you like it that way too.

* We will work with you on your draft until you like it – which means several versions of your wording and graphics. Normally there is no extra charge for preparing drafts, but we may ask for an additional design fee if we prepare an unreasonable amount of drafts and no conclusion is in sight. We’re here to serve you, but we need to feed our kids.
